PROCESS

Development: There are a number of ways we can go about this. First decide on full body or head portrait and number of pets in the painting. Then send me some jpegs of your best photos of your pet(s). If I like them as is, I will paint directly from that photo. However, taking pictures of your pet can be difficult and the background, lighting, composition, etc. may not always be suitable for a painted piece. If I am not quite satisfied, I can make a composite of the photos you give me or I will ask to have a photo shoot scheduled with me. Full backgrounds are encouraged with full body portraits. If a full background is not desired then adding your pets’ favorite toys can add that special touch. Once we have a photo or full composite, I will begin the painting. A 16×20 sized painting takes me approximately 40 hours to paint.

Payment Policy: I take a down payment of 50% for the initial commission and 50% upon selection of photograph or completion of composite photograph that will be used for the final painting. I take cash, check or credit card through paypal (I will send you an email invoice based on your choice of payment).

Delivery: Free shipping through USPS, UPS, or FEDEX, two-three day insured mail or if you’re in the neighborhood possible delivery by hand.
